Acting Academy

A place where imaginations can run wild, and self-confidence is promoted, Acting Academy is an after-school program that teaches the techniques of acting and performance. Take your Acting skills to the next level this Spring.

This program will focus on:

Acting
Creativity
Voice and tone
Physicality
Script analysis
Character examination

Acting Academy is exclusively offered to Schenectady City School District students in grades 6–8. We are currently accepting students for the 2020-21 school year. Limited availability, only 20 students will be accepted into this program.

Program Details:

The program occurs 4:00-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday when school is in session.

Program Begins: Tuesday, January 19, 2021
Program Ends: Thursday, May 6, 2021

Acting Academy will be run through virtually Google Classrooms. Students are expected to join in the Google Classroom and session through Google Meets. Students will need internet access and their Google Chromebook (provided by the school district).
